KBC brings direct public transit training and operations experience gained at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), one of the largest multimodal transit systems in the United States. While assigned to MARTA’s Learning & Development Center, Mr. Cloud supported the training, professional development, and operational readiness of transit bus operators serving high-volume fixed-route service.

KBC provides classroom and practical instruction to new and incumbent bus operators, focusing on safe vehicle operation, defensive driving, customer service, and compliance with agency operating procedures and federal transit safety standards. Our instructional work is the same as MARTA’s safety management system (SMS) objectives and contributes to workforce readiness and service reliability.

In addition to operator instruction, KBC also manages fixed-route schedule design and service planning support, assisting with the development and evaluation of route schedules to improve on-time performance, operational efficiency, and operator familiarity with service patterns. This work requires coordination with operations, training, and scheduling teams to ensure alignment between service plans and operator deployment.

KBC also can plan the transition and retention of new bus operators, managing and mentoring employees as they progressed from entry-level trainees into experienced revenue-service operators. This responsibility includes performance monitoring, coaching, remedial training coordination, and professional development support designed to reduce early attrition and improve long-term workforce stability.

 Through this process, KBC hands-on experience supporting FTA-funded public transportation operations, workforce development initiatives, and transit safety objectives can provide management experience that can directly reform any transit operational program in developing modern, scalable transit bus operations that will be aligned with federal, state, and local transit agency requirements
